Making Balinese Offerings
These floral spiritual offerings adorn Bali’s temples, streets, home entrances, and any place that the Balinese people believe to be sacred. You might even spot some on trees and statues.Canang is a small and square-shaped coconut-leaf basket that can overflow with a variety of brilliant flowers. Sari means ‘essence.’ For example, a modest amount of money could make up the essence of a Balinese offering known as kepeng.
Canang sari embody Balinese Hinduism and the religion’s aim to make the world balanced through Tri Hita Karana. Parahyangan means ‘God’, Pawongan means ‘human’ and Palemahanmeans ‘nature.’ Tri Hita Karana is represented with a special three-piece component that is included in every canang sari.The Balinese believe that offerings should be created with a thankful spirit.

Balinese Cooking Experience
Kawi Resort is proud to share the unique skill & secret Balinese recipe. Under guidance of our Balinese house maid staff you can learn how to prepare local delicious food. Cooking venue is inside the house, and you will start by shopping in the Tampak Siring traditional market at 07:00 am for approximately one hour, where you will find Balinese spices & vegetables displayed and sold in traditional way. Traditional cooking takes place on our restaurant at 11.00am.
For approximately one and half hours our Staff will share his secret dishes recipes, and followed with your memorable luncheon with valley view.

Afternoon Tea
Available between 3 pm – 5 pm at Yoga Venue, indulge in a selection of local pastries, a piping hot tea and savour the cool breeze that rush in from the surrounding valley around you. Leave feeling satisfied both in your tummy and your mind as the gentle Ubud wind immerse with your soul.
Acoustic BBQ Night
The Collina restaurant provides a unique and immersive culture experience in Bali, allowing guests to discover the rich beauty of the island through a combination of authentic cuisine and traditional Balinese dance. The Balinese Culture Dinner offered at the restaurant is a popular attraction that showcases the diverse flavors of Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, creating journey for visitors.
Village Trekking
Kawi Resort is surrounded by traditional village and beautiful rice fields. We offer you a morning trekking in order to feel the nature of rice, knowing how the rice field cultivated and relation with other Balinese activities and culture. Another interesting activity on Saturday is walking along entire of Tampaksiring area, learning the Balinese living and culture while entering one of the village member house compounds before walking down the small jungle. Our Guest Activity will guide you on this trekking. She will explain to you the basic information regarding the main activities. The walk gives you a chance to breathe in the fresh air as you walk through the village than to the rice field at about 1, 5 to 2 hours in morning.

Purification
Known as ‘Melukat’ in Balinese term, these centuries old ritual has been known as one of the sacred ways to purify mind, heart and spirit by releasing blockages on a deeper level by using element of water, an element that guides and provides life. Melukat performed at a Holy water Temple, is one of the best ways to find healing and restoration of our well-being. Therefore, whether you are here because you are longing for another form of spiritual experience, to release negative attachments on an emotional level which eventually will opening way to a better relationship, or to purify the mind in order to find clarity, this ceremony is best to do with us having an intention.
